What we collect

• Email alerts and the weekly digest: your email address, what you chose to watch, and when you confirmed. We use it only to send BoomBapWax emails. Every email has a one-click unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all emails.
• Outbound clicks: when you click a shop link we record the time, the release, the shop, your country and the referring site — no IP address, no cookie.
• Visitor statistics: we count page views with GoatCounter, which runs on our own server. It records the page, the referring site, your browser, screen size and country. It sets no cookies and doesn't store your IP address, so you can't be identified or followed across sites.
• Spam protection: the email forms use Cloudflare Turnstile to check that a person, not a bot, is signing up. It looks at signals from your browser, doesn't use cookies for tracking and doesn't show you puzzles in most cases.
• Server logs: our web server keeps standard access logs (including IP addresses) for up to 14 days for security, then deletes them.
• In your browser only: your saved releases ("My crate"), currency and theme. These never leave your device.

Cookies

We don't use tracking or advertising cookies. The only cookie is a security token set when you submit a form. Shops you visit through our links set their own cookies under their own policies.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete your data at any time by emailing [email protected]. You can also complain to the Dutch data protection authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Processors

Our server, Cloudflare (which protects and speeds up the site) and email delivery are run by service providers who process data on our behalf under a data processing agreement. We never sell your data.
